Terms & Rules of Hosting a Forum
Please contact the forum administration if you wish to become a moderator or forum editor for your own topic at forumadmin@hancockhouse.com
In return for your active participation in the forum(s) of your choice, Hancock House will provide the facilities and actively aid in the development of your topic(s) as well as providing you with other amenities such as a separate e-mail account and other Internet facilities as and when they become necessary, such facilities to be judged on a case by case basis but might include such things as a full web site, separate domain address, increased data space, etc.
Hosting or moderating a forum involves the creation of articles and may also include the solicitation of articles from others with the added requirement for editing and/or vetting such articles and taking responsibility for approval of their content prior to allowing the general public to see them (posting). It also involves moderating and management of any comment postings allowed for articles in the forum area(s) of responsibility.
Editing and approving others' postings involves ensuring that copyright rules are obeyed as well as vetting for off-topic and other unwanted postings and verbiage.
Please note that these policies and procedures are being actively worked upon, and in fact are one of the topics of the "Forum News and Tips" topic (which only those logged in can see). In general, Hancock House is open to developing this and other facilities of the Internet toward the goal of extending our publishing offerings and supporting a better dissemination of information which is part of the mission statement of both Hancock House Publishers and our Wildlife Research Division.
